Shortfall of watchmakers
The shortage of watchmakers is becoming more serious as many of them approached to retirement and there are very few capable candidates enter watchmaking school each year resulting in an increased demand for watchmakers. As we see the new technologies and new watches constantly evolve, there is always a demand for new watchmakers to become expert in the field and enter the profession. Therefore, our founder, Kenneth decided to set up a watch service center to provide training and education to youngsters who are interested in horology. This could be a solution for the insufficient craftsmanship matter that is happening worldwide.
Qualifications
He is a WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Program) certified watchmaker that have years of experience in servicing more than tens of different Swiss watch brands like De Bethune, Rolex, Omega, Longines, Rado, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Tissot, etc. He is also a COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) certificate holder in Malaysia for the watch he had built. Besides, he is specialized in movement service, lathe work turning, watch polishing, toolmaking and movement finishing.
